So I recently hit the big 30 and to celebrate I decided to take my two BFF's to my favourite city in the whole wide world (that I've been to); Berlin. I frigging love this town! Anyway, anyone who's been there will probably remember the old school photo booths dotted around places like the East Side Gallery and Warschauer Straße.  They're pretty much only for the tourists and loads of them have been tagged inside the booth but we did manage to find one that was all clear and at only 2 Euros a strip it's a pretty nice memento.  It also gave me an idea and I decided to dip back into my phone's camera apps to find a similar affect and I'm really glad I did. I used my Vignette App set to take strips of picture using the Diana effect and I'm pleased as punch with the outcome.  It was bizarre how differently I thought about my photos this way and when I took photos of people I counted to the out loud between each shot to kind of emulate the quick draw process of the photo booths.  It was great fun and I can't wait to find a way to display these somewhere. x
